Engagement levels on a change program
A significant change project was underway. At commencement, there was a high level of support for the change by all staff, however, slow implementation of the change and an absence of information about key activities and milestones eroded some of the support.
After working with both the leadership and management teams, and providing them with the perspectives of a cross section of staff, we were able to reinvigorate the change by enhancing the scope of the change project and included more staff members as catalysts for the change initiative.
The catalysts also disseminated regular information in a consistent and timely manner, keeping each of the Divisions informed on the changes that are and will affect them directly. This targeted approach contributed to an increase in the engagement levels of staff from 63% to 88% in 2 months.
